Bunch of thanks to Flora institute of technology, honorable principal sir and all Mechanical engineering department faculties. Today, no matter what challenges I have faced during my four years of engineering, I feel proud to be a part of this Flora institute of technology.
One of the most amazing things I ever got is to be a single female student in the Mechanical Dept. Even today people look at me and say 'she was only one girl in Mechanical' it gives tremendous energy and proud. This was possible only because of the love, respect, support and the mentorship I got in my college.
I still remember when I stepped in the class of 1st year and I came to know, I would be a single girl in mechanical branch. Honestly being a non Pune citizen, I was not able to accept the fact that alone girl in the new city and going to be alone in the class. I was not able to sleep at that night. But when I stepped into 2nd year of mechanical engineering, I never felt that I am alone girl. All my friends and teachers were supported a lot throughout and helped me to successfully complete my 4 years in this college.
When I went for the interview in Giant MNC's or Govt. Sectors, my interviewers asked me Why Flora? Why not IIT? I replied, I never felt disappointed to be a part of Flora because this college has given me equivalent to the IIT.
